Get more art in your life! Thaw out from the winter with the Cornelia Arts Building’s all-indoor open house! For over thirty years this artist incubator space has provided Chicago artists, working in a variety of mediums, with professional studio spaces to pursue their craft. Come experience real working art studios of Cornelia Arts Building’s talented artists and artisans. Meet the creators in person, and explore their art practices up close. See artwork from the building’s numerous resident artists, and enjoy the newest guest artist exhibitions by Gary Gantert and Joseph Fisher.

Come explore two full floors of working artist studios, and have a chance to purchase artwork and hand-made crafts directly from the people who made them. Over fifty local artists and artisans work here, including sculptors, painters, photographers, ceramic artists, print-makers, jewelry designers, textile artisans, and much more. With one-of-a-kind hand-made artwork and gifts by both the building artists and guest artists, the event offers something for the whole family to enjoy. Free and open to the public.

Established in 1986 in a former ice-house, the Cornelia Arts Building is one of the largest and one of the oldest all-artist studio buildings on Chicago's North side. Located at 1800 West Cornelia, the building rests at the border of three distinct Chicago Neighborhoods; Lakeview, Roscoe Village, and North Center. Located close to public transportation and only two blocks south of the Addison Brown Line CTA stop, the building also has free parking available in parking lot out front, and on neighborhood streets nearby.
