The Cornelia Arts Building - Where Art Works
Over 45 local artists and artisans work in this former ice-house, including sculptors, painters, photographers, ceramic artists, print-makers, jewelry designers, textile artisans, and much more. Come see what the building residents have been creating on two full floors of working artist studios.
With special hallway guest artist exhibitions, complimentary refreshments, live music by "Minus One Quintet", local gourmet food truck "Tamale Spaceship", and some of Chicago's best artists, in a friendly atmosphere evening event .
Established in 1986, the Cornelia Arts Building is one of the largest All-Artist studio buildings on Chicago's Northside. The buiding rests in the epicenter of three distinct Chicago Neighborhoods; Lakeview, Roscoe Village, and Ravenswood/North Center. Close to public transportation, with free parking available in lot out front and on streets nearby. FREE and open to the public.
