Symbols & Sympathies features Jason Messinger's signature ceramic tile murals and unique ceramic sculpture. The artwork explores the boundary between abstraction and representation, with the viewer becoming complicit in the 'meaning' of the work. All artwork at this exhibition are for sale, and for the first time ever, collectors may buy tiles individually - rather than only as sets - to make their own individualized mural.

This solo show of signature ceramic tile murals and ceramic sculpture by Jason Messinger is scheduled to coincide with the National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts 44th Annual Conference held in nearby Philadelphia, PA  NCECA 2010, 44TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE
March 31-April 3, 2010 • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This program partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
