Cheer in the Holidays at the Cornelia Arts Building December Open Studios
With the completion of a multi-years long remodel, the 38 year old Cornelia Arts Building, at 1800 West Cornelia Ave, Chicago IL, opens its doors to the public on Fri. Dec. 6, from 6 - 10 pm, and on Sat. Dec. 7, from 11 am - 3 pm. Visitors can meet talented artists and artisans in person, experience their art practices up close, and purchase art and crafts directly from their makers. Explore two full-floors of working art studios at one of the largest artist studio buildings on Chicago’s North side, and find the unique gifts perfect for your loved ones and for yourself.
Held only four times a year, the open house events showcase a fresh mix of artists each time, with over 40 artists participating in December. One hundred local artists and artisans work in the building, including painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramic artists, print-makers, jewelers, designers, and much more.
